Description

Chenin Blanc is a native of the Loire Valley in France, as the name would suggest, but it has truly found its place as South Africa’s most important white grape. It’s made into the local sparkling called Methode Cap Classique or MCC for short. South Africa has become a powerhouse in the “Chenny Biz” as many of us (no one, not one single human) calls it. Producing a range of styles from super lean and crisp to big, buttery and unctuous, ZA does it all. Radford Dale is located at the base of the Helderberg mountains in Stellenbosch, just outside of Cape Town. This is South Africa’s most important wine region, and one of the oldest established wine regions in the ‘New World’.
