Muto Tinta Barroca 2022
100% Tinta Barroca from the Bassham Family Organic and Biodynamic vineyard in Barmera, South Australia.
Rustic & Perfumed, with a red fruit profile of raspberry, morello cherry & blackcurrant leaf with fragrant patchouli and cedar wood spice. Medium bodied with graphite tannins and a refreshing finish.

Wine Making
Hand picked fruit is left mostly whole-bunch, with some foot trodding to loosen up some juice for wild fermentation from the yeasts in the vineyard and winery. The ferment is punched down by hand, once in the morning, and once at night. After 10 days the must was basket pressed to 500L Puncheon barrels for 10 months of maturation, before being married into tank by gravity. Bottled, sealed, and labelled on site by the loving hands of family. Minimal sulphur was added at bottling.
